The Sister Touch
The Sister Touch is an extention of The Whole Touch. It's purpose is to encourage sisterly bonding and fellowship, mentoring among our sisters, and also to focus on that which specifically affects females.
At this year's Sister Touch Lunch held on April 19th we were blessed by Ida Williams' presentation on music and it's effect on her spiritual life, Jhavonne Waters' presentation on The Sister Touch/The Whole Touch, and special music from Rosalind Blackwell, and Mya Walters. We also received a special blessing when Michelle Rollins shared her testimony on her battle with cancer. Her humor and strength when sharing her testimony was uplifting.
Before closing, each sister shared a word with the group for us to remember in day to day life, as well as in difficult times. We held a circle of prayer asking God to bless and touch each one of us, our families, our health, and our homes.
I thank each one of them for coming, and also to those who contributed to The Whole Touch.
Thank you my sisters:
